Emily Goodin

Emily Goodin is a Wardrobe Stylist and Creative Director based in Nashville, TN. Emily’s career in fashion began when she opened a fashion-forward bridal and formal wear boutique in Chattanooga in 2006. Winning countless accolades as the shop of choice for events, Emily honed her skills styling for everyone from musical artists, to brands, to magazines. Her store, Boutique Couture, was even mentioned in Sara Evans novel, “The Sweet By and By”. After years as a buyer and shop owner, her career in fashion led her to the TV and radio as Style Watch Reporter! Emily would give style tips and trend reports to listeners on Hits 96 radio based in Chattanooga. On News Channel 9, she had a monthly style segment where she interviewed boutique owners and small businesses and reported on style trends available in the area. In 2015, Emily moved to Nashville to begin styling individual clients full time. Emily not only worked with her day to day clientele, she broke into the commercial styling and production side almost immediately upon her arrival in Nashville. Styling for commercial shoots allowed her to work with various photographers in the area. She built her reputation as the “go-to” stylist to hire, both for her positive attitude on set and the attention to detail for aesthetics. She even began renting her own home and studio space for production and has worked with brands and names such as Carrie Underwood, Jesse James Decker, Durango Boots, and Kristin Cavalari’s Uncommon James. Through her commercial work, she met photographer Ashley Hylbert. After several years of working with Ashley on various editorial projects and commercial shoots, Ashley approached Emily about starting a business together. For over a year, Emily and Ashley built the foundation of their imagery and art agency with multiple themed shoots and business planning. In June 2023, Linebender was launched. Now Emily’s focus is two fold, acting as owner, creative director, producer and stylist for the agency as well as continuing to serve her individual styling clients. And recently, Emily has even dusted off her camera skills becoming a regular on Channel 5’s “Talk of the Town” show, doing themed style segments. “I wake up every morning, excited to see what today brings! I love what I do and I think it shows!” -Emily
